Mirror-polished granite becomes slippery when wet, so we do not recommend it for outdoor steps, porches, parking or ramps. Flamed and leather finishes give much better grip. For indoor stairs where you want a polished look, we cut anti-skid grooves near the nosing. Lappato is a semi-polished finish and is better suited to indoor floors than wet areas.
